Eleven years ago, Champainting introduced you to Australia’s first paint-and-sip studio experience. When you book your events with us, you can expect nothing less than to have a good time and be creative. Because we have been providing entertaining painting sessions for nearly a decade, Champainting has proven time and time again that it is the best way to spend time with friends, a terrific date night idea or the ideal corporate team-building activity. We offer our paint and sip classes in Melbourne and Sydney.

The History of Champainting

Over these last eleven years as an industry leader, we have grown to four fully-owned and operated studios across Sydney and Melbourne. Our passion for creating fun and memorable moments can be seen in our countless guests. Our creative team is made up of talented professional artists dedicated to helping you unleash your inner artist.

Since 2012, we’ve created hundreds of unique artworks inspired by famous masterpieces, customer suggestions and holiday snaps. We introduced the very popular ‘Paint Your Mate, Picasso Style’ and ‘Paint Your Pet’ theme sessions, which thousands of guests have enjoyed painting over the last ten years. We’ve also held ‘Glow in the Dark’ events, ‘HalloQween‘ drag nights, ‘Mardi Gras Celebration Extravaganzas‘ and many, many more.

Creative philosophy

Our creative philosophy has always been “fun art, not fine art” — and we believe everyone is an artist at heart, some just need a drop of ‘liquid creativity’. We provide a safe and creative space for all our guests to unleash their inner artist. Our experienced team of artists provide guidance and support along the way, helping you create your masterpiece. We believe that we can all come together through painting to celebrate our successes and ultimately have a great time!

Our sessions are about getting lost in a creative space, escaping and forgetting all your worries and creating something to be proud of. We welcome people of any artistic ability, as all our sessions require no previous experience and our professional artists lead them step-by-step from start to end.

Who is Champainting for?

What happens in a Champainting session?

You can expect a relaxed atmosphere full of creative energy when you attend one of our painting sessions. Our experienced artists guide you every step of the way and help you create your masterpiece. We provide all the materials needed for each session, such as paint, paint brushes, art aprons and easels, so all you need to bring is yourself and your choice of food and beverage. 

At the beginning of each session, our artists will explain the materials and discuss the painting you’ll be creating. They will then guide you step-by-step as you bring your artwork to life. They will provide tips on painting techniques throughout the evening and answer any questions. All the while, you and your friends and family can drink, eat and enjoy each other’s company. 

Champainting VIP

In October 2019, we launched ‘Champainting VIP‘, a WORLD FIRST luxury paint and sip experience at Wildlife Sydney Zoo Sydney and Sealife Sydney Aquarium. Guests were treated to private after-hours venue access, grazing platters and drinks and a 2-hour paint and sip session in the heart of the attractions surrounded by wildlife. Our Champainting VIP experiences have since expanded to Sealife Aquarium Melbourne and collaborated with other unique venues with more unique venues to come.

With our experienced team of artists leading each session, you can be sure your painting experience will be unique and memorable!
