Private Party Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions set forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the website and any use and/or purchase of goods and services offered by Champainting Pty Ltd and any of its related companies (hereunder ‘US’, ‘OUR’ or ‘WE’). By accessing this website you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. You warrant that you have the ability to enter into transactions directly with US and by making a request through the website you also warrant to US that you are at least 18 years of age.
Upon securing your booking, we’ll email you a link to our Gallery of original artwork for you to choose from or we can create a unique painting specifically for you. The cost for us to create this unique painting varies depending on your needs. Contact us to discuss.
We’re open 7 days a week. We have allocated time-slots throughout each day for all private events.
Your 2.5-hr paint and sip event can be held between these time slots:
Morning Events: between 10:30am and 1pm
Afternoon Events: between 2:30pm and 5pm
Evening Events: between 6:45pm and 9:15pm
With 2hr off-site paint and sip events, there is additional flexibility with your time slot. However, the events must fall within a morning, afternoon and evening time-slot, subject to availability.
Your 2.5hr event duration is the entire time you have available to you to hold your event. It includes your arrival time, guest mingling time and your painting time. The agreement entered into with US will clearly state your Arrival Time and your Departure Time and the Duration of your event.
If you would like to arrive earlier than your Arrival Time or leave later than your Departure Time, a charge of $120 per 30 minutes applies. All additional time requests will be considered subject to availability as there may be a private event or public session before or after your event.
We can accommodate up to 46 people at our Darlinghurst (NSW) studio, up to 42 people at our Crows Nest (NSW) and up to 45 people in our South Melbourne (VIC) studios. We can accommodate 50+ people at our partnering venues throughout Melbourne and Sydney. Our largest event so far has been for 178 people.
Call us for more information.
All our studios are wheelchair accessible but for our Crows Nest location.
It is your responsibility to provide tables and chairs at any offsite venue and to provide us with access to running water.
A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to secure your event’s date and time.
The non-refundable deposit varies for off-site events and for events securing a studio public session timeslot.
The non-refundable deposit for EOFY (throughout June) and XMAS (from 19 November to 20 December) events is the Applicable Minimum Spend relevant to your chosen timeslot.
Private Party Minimum Spends:
All Mornings $600
Mon-Fri Afternoons: $720
Mon-Wed Evening: $1,200
Thurs Evening: $1,500
Fri & Sat Evening: $2,100
Sat-Sun Afternoons: $2,100
Sun Evening: $900
Your final payment is due 14 days prior to your event date.
Once attendee numbers are finalised, no refund will be provided if fewer attendees arrive at the event.
A request to reschedule your event is a request to cancel it. Upon its cancellation, you will have the option to rebook your event at a future, available time.
If you are entitled to a credit, WE will issue you a voucher which you may use towards rebooking your private event or to put the credit towards another Champainting offering.
You may be entitled to a credit depending on when you give US written notice to reschedule or cancel your event:
29+ day’s written notice: | A credit in the amount of your Deposit |
22-28 day’s written notice: | A credit in the amount of your Deposit less $150 |
15-21 day’s written notice: | Loss of your Deposit (no credit) |
14 day’s or less written notice: | Loss of all monies paid (no credit) |
Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
What is it?
A prospective guest (customer) who provides us written evidence of a cheaper quote from another paint and sip business for the same date and time they enquired with us, subject to availability, Champainting will match the price.
By doing so, Champainting is committed to offering the lowest prices without compromising on service. This provides the best value to our guests.
What’s the catch?
There’s no catch. It’s a win-win situation.
As our prospective guest, you benefit by receiving the Champainting experience while also not paying more than what you would have paid at another paint and sip business.
For us, we secure your business and get the opportunity to share the Champainting experience with you!
How does it work?
- Provide us with a written quote in the form of a screenshot or PDF file from another paint and sip business for the same type of event on the same date and time you are seeking to hold your event with us.
- The quote must be from a paint and sip business holding an Australian Business Number (ABN).
- If we agree to price match the quote, you must be willing and able to immediately book your private event with us by paying the deposit (the amount payable is per our standard private event terms and conditions).
- Our Price Match Policy does not apply after you book your event with us or for public sessions and Champainting VIP events.
WE will make every effort to deliver OUR services to you, as promised.
However, if WE are required or effectively required by the Government to close OUR studio(s) (whether it be the Federal or relevant State government, municipality or other governing body), and WE are therefore unable to run your event, WE will issue you a coupon voucher for the full value of your order or reschedule you to another date and time of your choice of equivalent value (subject to availability).
Alternatively, if WE are required or effectively required to reduce the capacity of OUR studio(s) rather than close, WE will issue a coupon voucher for the full value of your order or reschedule you to another session of your choice of equivalent value (subject to availability) for the number of guests that were to attend but for exceeding the reduced studio capacity.
If a conflict exists between any of Our Private Party terms and conditions with any of Our General terms and conditions, the Private Party terms and conditions prevail in so far as the conflict exists as determined by US.
‘Party’, ‘Event’, ‘Private Party’ and ‘Private Event’ are used interchangeably throughout this website. They each hold the same meaning.
