Our 126 Oxford Street studio is located at the top end of Oxford Street close to Taylor Square. We are positioned between the Palms Nightclub and Aussie Boys and across the road from Stonewall Hotel.
Our studio is only a 10-15 minute walk from Museum station or a quick Uber / taxi from the CBD. The following buses run up and down Oxford Street: 324, 333, 340, 392, 396, 440.
Our studio boasts two large glass windows at the front to provide plenty of natural light into it. We have two light box displays and an awning sign above the studio entrance so you can’t miss us. Our studio is located on ground level for easy access and is wheelchair accessible although our bathroom facilities are not.
Our studio provides glassware (wine glasses, champagne flutes & tumblers), tapas plates and bottle openers for our guests to use. We also have a fridge available to keep your drinks cool.
All art materials are provided, including a tabletop easel, 40 x 50 cm canvas, apron, paint, brushes, a paper plate and a cup to clean your brushes.
We do not have onsite parking at our studio. There is street parking available around the studio on Bourke St and Burton St, but empty spaces can be difficult to find. We suggest taking public transport to our studio, if possible. If you do need to park, there is a public car park at 70 Riley St, Darlinghurst which is only a 10 minute walk to our studio. Yes, Corkscrew Cellars is conveniently located a couple of doors down at 108 Oxford St, Darlinghurst. You can call them to pre order or pop in right before your session. If you mention you are doing a session with us they do offer a 10% discount on selected drinks.
