With hundreds of artworks to choose from, you can select a painting you and your partner will love at one of our Sydney or Melbourne  locations. Then, all you need to bring is some bubbles, wine or beer and your favourite snacks, and we’ll provide the rest.

Our studios will provide you with glassware to sip while you paint, all the art materials you need to bring your creation to life, and step-by-step guidance from an expert artist that will take you from a blank canvas to your very own hand-painted treasure. Our artists will help you to break down the individual elements that make an artwork come alive, so even if you’re an absolute beginner and you’ve never picked up a brush before, you can enjoy the satisfaction of seeing your painting come together, while you get to spend time with that special someone. FAQs

Why should you do paint and sip night for your date?

Let’s face it, the old movie/restaurant/bar repeat routine can get a little boring. With a paint and sip experience, you can explore a new creative activity, while still getting plenty of time to get to know your date better, enjoy some drinks and nibbles and a great atmosphere. Our convenient locations make it easy to grab a drink before your art class or head out into the night afterwards if you hit it off. It’s the perfect unexpected date night that’s sure to be an evening to remember!

What do you need for a couple’s paint night?

All of our Champainting studios are BYO drinks (wine, beer, cider, cans of premixed spirits and sparkling wine only) and nibbles. When you arrive, we’ll provide all the glassware, tapas plates, fridge, ice and bottle openers you need for your gourmet spread. Note we don’t sell any alcohol, drinks or nibbles at our studios, so anything you want to enjoy you’ll need to bring.

We’ll also provide all the art materials you need; from aprons to paint brushes, paint and a canvas. Apart from that, you’ll need to bring your creativity, your best banter and a winning smile.

How long is a paint and sip date?

Our studio sessions run for either 2 ½ hours or 3 hours. Some VIP sessions in other venues run for 3 hours. That gives you plenty of time to get to the bottom of that intriguing red, spend some quality time with your date, and unleash your creativity!

Can you take home your painting after paint and sip night?

Absolutely! Part of the fun of a couple’s paint night is that you get to create your very own artwork and take it home with you. Swap your art with your date or display them around your home — the choice is yours! For a fun date idea, you can even choose one of our Paint Your Mate sessions and create a unique portrait of your special date.

What do you wear to a couple’s paint night?

Feel free to dress up for drinks and dancing later, or stay comfortable in your loungewear — we’ll provide you with a protective apron to keep your clothes clean of any accidental paint spills, so you can dress to impress.
