Spend your summer evenings painting by the light of a Bondi sunset while you have a tipple or two
When the days start stretching on into the evening, the best way to enjoy the final rays is with friends and a glass of bubbly while bumbling through a painting class. The fine artists from Cork and Canvas have been spreading colour all over Sydney with their wine and painting classes, and now they’re hosting an all-inclusive pop-up event in Bondi.
They’ve previously done BYO sessions, but this summer they’ll be bringing the paint brushes as well as the cheese knives and corkscrews. This boozy art class includes your artistic tutelage, two hours of bubbles, beer, wine and snacks, as well as some killer views of Sydney Harbour and our city skyline at sundown.
The masterpieces you’ll attempt to replicate will change week by week – the glistening harbour scene may catch the eye of a realist, while a contemporary painter may be drawn to the vivid rainbow jellyfish. So if you have a preferred style or muse, booking well ahead of time would be the right move.
